At first I thought this was lowered, but now I’m not so sure. Is it just bigger diameter tires with no lift? Bigger tires and lowered? Is it a Jeep Thing I Wouldn’t Understand?

Looks like someone put 35s on a stock ride height Jeep.
Although a lowered Jeep is a possibility...however, as a non-Jeep owner, I doubt I understand.

Looks like bigger tires and too much shit in the back, no lift.

Jeep tops don’t normally billow up like that right? Poorly made aftermarket top not keeping the wind out?

Yeah I noticed that too. Definitely aftermarket and not really doing its job well.

Besides the puffed up leaky roof it looks fine. I was just trying to get my bearing on what was modified.

I think they were only made ‘07 and ‘08 and only came in four door variant.

I believe you’re correct. The 2wd models did not have a trail rated badge on the left front fender. Jeep wouldn’t allow it, because the 2wd model couldn’t run the length of the Rubicon trail. Also, it’s aftermarket wheels with less backspacing and larger tires with no lift. Probably rubs off road, but then again, it's probably never been off road.
